Juice Cleanse Recipes

The Classic Green Juice Cleanse Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cup freshly chopped spinach, washed
1/4 cup celery, roughly chopped
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 cup kale
1/4 cup watercress
3/4 cucumber, peeled and seeded
1 ripe Bosc pear, peeled and seeded
1/8 cup lemon juice

Step 1:
Put the spinach, celery, parsley, kale and watercress and push through a juicer.

Step 2:
Add the cucumber, pear and lemon juice and juice again. Remove the foam on top of the juice with a slotted spoon if desired.

Step 3:
Fill a glass about halfway with ice and pour the juice over the top. Serve immediately while cold.

Spinach and Strawberry Juice with Soy or Hemp Milk

Ingredients:
1 cup soy milk or hemp milk
1/2 cup freshly chopped spinach, washed
1/4 cup parsley
1 1/2 cups strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup banana, chopped
1/2 cup crushed ice

Step 1:
Combine the soy milk or hemp milk, spinach and parsley in a blender or juice and process.

Step 2:
Add the strawberries and banana and process once more, adding 1/2 cup of crushed ice if desired.

Step 3:
Pour the juice into a chilled glass or over ice desired. Serve immediately.

Tip:
You can use almond milk or rice milk in this recipe instead of soy or hemp milk if desired.

Carrot, Spinach and Kale Juice

Ingredients:
1 cup carrots, roughly chopped
1/2 cup spinach
1/4 cup kale
1/4 cup water

Step 1:
Process the carrots in a juicer. Add the spinach and kale and process once more.

Step 2:
Pour the juice over a glass of ice and add the water slowly, to taste, to thin the juice, stirring it regularly with a spoon.

Ginger, Lemon and Carrot Juice Cleanse Recipe

2-ince piece of fresh ginger root, peeled
1 lemon, quartered
1 cup carrots, roughly chopped
1/4 apple
1/4 cup water

Step 1:
Process the ginger and lemon in the juicer.

Step 2:
Add the carrots and apple and process once more.

Step 3:
Pour the ginger, lemon and carrot juice over a glass of ice. Add the water slowly, stirring the juice the whole time with a spoon. Serve the juice right away.

Cucumber, Alfalfa and Parsley Juice

Ingredients:
1 whole cucumber, peeled and seeded
1/8 cup alfalfa sprouts
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1/8 cup fresh mint
1/4 cup water

Step 1:
Process the cucumber and alfalfa sprouts in the juice.

Step 2:
Add the fresh mint and process once more.

Step 3:
Pour the juice over ice and add the water slowly, stirring the juice regularly to reach the desired consistency.

General Tips:
You can keep these juices in your refrigerator for about 24 hours in an airtight container with a tight-fitting top. However, you don’t want to keep fresh juice longer, as it may begin to lose some of its vital nutrients and begin to separate, giving the juice and unappetizing taste and texture.

Feel free to experiment with various Juice Cleanse Recipes. If your primary goal is Weight Loss concentrate on juicing mostly green leafy vegetables and limit fruit juicing. Choose to use lower glycemic fruits such as berries.
